Fundraising

Shetland Gymnastics Club is fundraising for a new facility and need to have funds to contribute towards a funding application. Whether its an existing building or a complete new build, the club will need to contribute towards the costs which wont be cheap.
The club has been operating for 17 years and outgrew its current location over 10 years ago. We are positively pursuing a couple of options regarding sites and buildings and we need to build up our funds to help the process move forward.
The club currently has 150 members and around 300 on the waiting list to join. We want every young person who wants to, to be given the opportunity to participate and we need your help in order to do this!!

To support our club at any time use the link for JustGiving page. It has been set up by our head coach Julie Grant to raise funds for new facility.

For other fundraisers please see the info below

Shetland Gymnastics Club are organising a clothes swap to raise funds to aid the club in gaining their own facility. This would be hugely beneficial to the club as it would mean they can run more classes and would be a huge asset to gymnasts travelling south for competitions 🤸🏼‍♀️

Come along to the Whiteness & Weisdale hall on Sunday 18th September, 12-4pm

Our next fundraiser is to raise enough funds to purchase a set of new competition leotards for our senior team to wear to upcoming competitions and Island Games Comp in Aland in July 2023. Examples of leotards shown below. Going to do a Northlink Vouchers Numbers Draw. Numbers 1-100. £10 a number. Prize is £500 Northlink Ferries Vouchers
Or if there is any business out there who would like to sponsor the team then please let the club know.

Please put your tokens in our slot at Tesco over the next few months.
