Goodbye May

A few tears shed tonight as May Young decided to hang up her leotard and concentrate on getting good exam results. May has spent more than half her life as a member of our club, competing south from the age of 8, attending numerous 2 piece comps, Gymfest, our first ever Island Games in Wales and an International Teamgym comp gaining a silver medal as well as our first ever 4 piece competition on the mainland. She has been a real pleasure to coach for all these years and being a friend to all gymnasts in the club.
May you will be a real miss but please come and check in often (she will be helping at our comp) and say hi.
We are so proud of all you have achieved and can’t wait to see what you do next!

Goodbye Arwen

Tonight we said a proper farewell to one of our most successful gymnasts. Competed at 2 Island Games competitions, Voluntary Levels 4 piece, International Teamgym comp, countless floor and vault comps, displays and Gymfests. It has been an amazing adventure and I’m sorry to see it end. Arwen you will always be welcome back and thank you for allowing us coaches and friends to be part of your journey. Good luck in your next ventures whatever they may be…
